Four Vintage Ceramic Sprinkler Bottles - Great Variety

These lot actually contains two sets of Lionel trains:<div>The first set has locomotive engine 246 (dating from 1959 to 1961), caboose, three rolling stocks, tracks, and a transformer.&nbsp; The box car says "WIX."&nbsp; The Lionel set box it is in also talks about the Wix Corporation.&nbsp; Can't find much about the boxcar or the corporation, but wanted to put it out there so if it is RARE you will not miss this piece of history.</div><div>The second set has an engine 8602 (possibly from the 1970s), coal tender, caboose, and two rolling stocks. As can been seen, some of the couplers for this set are a hook.&nbsp;

They are originals. Each of these three maps has two numbers because they are actually two folded pages in the set of maps placed in a large book of Breous maps. The pair of numbers are 186 and 187, 190 and 191, and 194 and 195. The missing numbers are the blank backs of the maps which were not numbered.&nbsp; All maps have retained their colors which are often faded.

There are seven dinner plates with a diameter of 10.5"; one luncheon/salad plate with a diameter of 8"; three bread plates with a diameter of 6" and seven dessert/berry bowls with an upper diameter of 5". A large number of books were produced, called “The Library of America Series”, and put into sturdy cardboard sleeves. The goal was to authoritatively preserve and print America’s most significant writings. This Maxsold lot has 15 books with 9 of them never opened. Even the six books where the plastic was removed are in mint condition. The binding of each book is woven rayon cloth. The paper is acid free.&nbsp;

The photograph is a black and white ambrotype image of a seated woman in period dress, size approximately 2 inches by 2.5 inches. The image is framed by a scalloped gold metal mat inside the case. The interior of the case features blue velvet/felt lining with an embossed emblem. The outer hard case is dark brown or black with decorative embossed patterns, measuring about 3.5 inches in height based on ruler comparison. There is slight degradation of the photo from microbial activity visible as spots, and one very slight chip on a corner of the hard case, minimally noticeable. The blue felt is in pristine condition.

Antique Ninth Plate Ambrotype Photograph in Union Thermoplastic Case

Dated March 8,1858 under the image. This hard case is number 443 in Krainik, Krainik and Walvoord’s book on Union Cases. One very slight chipped corner which is hardly noticeable. The blue felt is pristine.  There is degradation of the image from microbes.
