Rare 1927 German “Stay Young Playing Golf In Germany

This lot is rare, original 1927 German tourist poster, “Stay Young Playing Golf in Germany,” by Osswald. There are tons of cheap reproductions of this poster on EBay, but very few originals. It is approximately 39 x 24.5 inches. (One meter x 60 cm). This poster came out of the back of a storage room of a hundred fifty year-old general store outside Natchitoches, Louisiana. It is still on its original mounting board. If you look closely, you will see that it was mounted over other posters, and on the back is part of a 1920s ladies underwear ad. (That one is free). The Golf poster is in “fair” condition. It is weathered, scratched, faded, stained, and has bits missing, mostly on the corners. So, please examine the photos carefully. But, it has tons of character and is a showstopper! We had it hung on our wall, as is, for years. It would look great in a bar or restaurant. Measurements: 25x1x39 Pickup category timeslot {A}
