This lot is an Elgin pocket watch.  It’s been a while since we opened it up, but the serial number put it around 1010-1915. It has a beautiful incised silver toned case that’s about 1.75 inches in diameter.  The best part is that it was gone over several years ago and it works great and keeps good time.  We guarantee that it will be working when you pick it up.

110 Year Old Elgin Pocket Watch - Works!!

This is a North Georgia estate find, and late 1700s to early 1800s wooden spinning wheel.  It’s an amazing example of a basic item of colonial life.  The wheel is approximately 20.5 inches.  The piece is approximately 34 inches high and the two front feet are 24 inches apart at the floor.  The spindle was attached in front of the wheel by leather loops.  Sold as a display only, but could be put back together for spinning in a third century.

This lot in a vintage German Pendulum wall clock.  “Emperor” brand.  We are not sure of age, other than its post-war.  Solid European Walnut case!  Complete and runs perfectly, with a great tick tock sound.  The main park of the case, less the embellishments, is 17 inches high, 9 inches wide and 5 deep.  Counting the embellishments, it’s 27 inches high.  They run about 200-250 on the online market.  We guarantee that it will be running when you pick it up.

Vintage German “Emperor” Wall Clock W/Key Works!

This lot is a 1974 print by the renowned Japanese artist Yoshitoshi Mori (1898-1992).  He is famous for depicting Japanese folklore in various mediums, including woodblock and stencil prints.  This one depicts the story of a poor Samurai knight tricking his hungry horse to keep going by a branch of leaves always just out of reach.  Professionally double matted and framed.  The frame is approximately 18 x 26 inches.  EV is 150-175.

1974 Print By Japanese Wood Block Artist Yoshitoshi Mori

In the mid-1950s, every boy in America wanted one of these “The Frontier” cowboys & Indians toy boxes!  Made of Ponderosa Pine with Cowboys and Indians and Buffalos painted on the tops and sides.  This one was loved for several generations!
It is approximately 30 inches wide, 14 inches deep and 13 inches high.  It has been well loved and used and is ready for another 70 year is use!

1955 Boys Wild West Wood Toy Box

This lot is an exceptional find. Titles: “The Diehards” (and called “Sold Out) — it’s a rare tribute to the Packers fandom and the Lambeau Field legacy by late, great, renowned Wisconsin artist, Don Kloetzke.  It shows two Packer fans, who couldn’t get tickets, watching the game in the freezing snow covered parking lot.

Don Kloetzke, a respected name in sports and wildlife art, was known for his ability to tell heartfelt, richly detailed stories through his brushwork. His deep ties to Wisconsin and its traditions live on through works like this, which resonate deeply with fans and collectors alike.

The print is hand signed and numbered.  It is approximately 22 x 32 inches. The custom frame is approximately 28 x 38 inches.  A one dollar bid start!

Large Antique Framed Frederic Mizen Print

This lot is a very nice antique ship’s chest made of solid Chestnut planks.  Each plank has amazing grain.  Each corner, included the top corners, is reinforced with sheet steel.  The inside is painted gray.  The top has a cedar planking insert.  It makes a great blanket chest or sofa table. Solid Chestnut planks on the bottom also.  It is approximately 40 inches wide, and 31 inches deep.  It is approximately 15 inches high from the base to the top of the lid.  Made before WWI.

This lot is a silver platter given to a 1949 graduate of the US Naval Academy.  These are hard to find because almost all stay in the family of graduates.  This one is approximately 15 inches in diameter.  We assume that it is silver plate.  It has an unusual “USNA” logo that is not quite government standards.  The mermaids are not in proper uniform. It does have the Academy slogan, “Non Sibi Sed Patria,” which means, “No For Self, But One’s Country.”  A nice US Navy collectible.

Large Framed English Folk Art Print By Anna Pugh

This lot is a beautiful hand-blown and shaped Italian Murano glass bowl.  Cost almost a hundred dollars when bought in Italy about 40 years ago!  The bowl is approximately 8 inches high and 10 inches across.  A great example of custom glass making.  It still has the Murano Italy label on side and the bottom.&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;

Vintage Hand Blown Italian Murano Glass Bowl

This lot is Civil War era (1850s-70s) It has the simple turned legs of that period.  It operates by a leg on each side for support of each leaf.  It appears to be made of solid Walnut.  The table is approximately 44 inches wide across the middle.  When the leaves are up, it is approximately 48 inches long.  When we bought it from an estate, it still has the 1200 price tag from when they bought it.  We used it some as an extra holiday guest table and when folded down as an accent, back of sofa table.

That’s the good news.  The wide planks do show 150 years of use.  We like it that way, but some good furniture oil will clean it up.  Unfortunately, when we were moving and staging it, one of the iron hinges on one side broke.  So, one, maybe two, hinges may need repairing or replacing. It’s well worth the effort.

Mid-1800s Drop Leaf Dining Table

This lot is 6 deluxe, leather bound Children’s story books, published by Children’s Classics Publishing in the 1979s to late 1990s.  Its goal was to make high quality children’s books to sell on a subscription basis.&nbsp; They were printed on high quality paper, sewn together in the traditional manner.  The binding had leather spines with Gold leaf tooling designs and lettering.  Each book is approximately 9 7/8 inches high and 7 1/2 inches deep.  The result were beautiful books to read, designed to last for generations. 

These six books were printed in the late 1999s to mid 90s.  They appear to be unused to lightly used.

Signed Large Vintage Oil On Canvas - Framed

This lot is a beautiful Norman Tockwell Boy Scouts advertisement calendar in mint condition.  It was printed in 1965 for the 1966 calendar year.  Rockwell did the artwork for Boy Scout calendars for almost 39 years.  Businesses bought them in bulk as a fund raiser for the Scouts.  The companies then gave them out to customers for free.  This one is for the “Kansas City Life Insurance Company.”  Shortly after it was given out, it was professionally framed in an 18x36 inch Walnut frame.  As a result, the calendar is in bright, near mint condition.  It makes a great display piece!
