Highly famous surrealist furniture designed by Swiss visionary artist H.R. Giger . Giger developed these chairs in the late 1970's for director Alejandro Jodowsky to be used as the Throne for the villain, Baron Vladimir Harkonnen, in the movie Dune. Capo chair has 3 human skulls stacked vertically above the backrest, and has armrests. the chairs were hand-cast using fiberglass or polished aluminum. The chairs are highly collectible expensive collector pieces. Here is a Framed print of the concept art for those capo chairs (thrones) with quite a story behind it! H.R.
