Vintage handwoven wool tribal rug featuring three traditional gul (rose) medallions on a rich red and navy field with intricate geometric borders. Measures approximately 52.5" x 30" excluding fringe. Personally purchased by the auction owner in the Tehran Bazaar, Iran prior to 1979 and retained in the same family. Displays the bold geometric motifs and craftsmanship associated with traditional Baluch and tribal weaving traditions. Original inventory/export tag remains attached.
