Sterling Silver 18 1/4&#34; Bali Style Rounded Byzantine Necklace.

This iconic bowl has a gently undulating organic shape with layered pastel tones and characteristic controlled bubble inclusions, trademarks of the Pizzicato series. The thick hand-blown glass and sculptural profile make it a striking centerpiece and a highly collectible example of mid-century Czech studio glass. A decorative museum-quality item, perfect for collectors of Czech modernist glass, designs from the *Brussels period and works by Hana Machovska. One of the larger and heavier examples of the Pizzicato series, with strong color presence and sculptural form.
The name comes from the EXPO 1958 World Exhibition in Brussels, where the Czechoslovak pavilion won the Grand Prix and caused a huge international resonance.
