Issued on July 3, 2015, the stamps were quickly withdrawn from circulation on July 6 and recalled from post offices due to the error. These error booklets are now a rare collector&#39;s item, as most were destroyed.

Later issues added a 20-cent stamp in 1904 and a 50-cent stamp in 1908. The stamps featured a portrait of King Edward VII and were engraved by the American Bank Note Company.  First issues: The first series was released on July 1, 1903, with stamps of 1, 2, 5, 7, and 10 cents. Later additions: A 20-cent stamp was added in 1904, followed by a 50-cent stamp in 1908. Production: The stamps were produced by the American Bank Note Company in Ottawa. Design features: The stamps featured a portrait of King Edward VII and a crown in the top corners for the first time on Canadian regular issues.
