This is a vintage Mexican Alpaca Silver and Iridescent Shell Cordial Set, likely from the mid-20th century. The set is made of Alpaca silver (a nickel alloy, not sterling silver) and inlaid with iridescent shell pieces. It includes a rectangular tray and six miniature goblets, as well as a smaller tray with salt & pepper shakers. For scale, the larger tray measures 7-3/4” x 5”. Set needs cleaning. This pattern was produced by Mikasa in Japan from 1979 to 1988. They measure 9” long overall. In good condition.
