The stone of this sculpture looks black in a distance or in poor light. In bright light and in close-up, it is actually a mottled dark green stone, with many black dots and white dots. Thomas Sivuraq is a listed artist in Canada. His work has been seen in many exhibitions, galleries, auctions, and private collections. Thomas's wife is Baker Lake artist Nancy Kangeryuaq.
