6 “Girls Of Many Lands” series by the Pleasant Company, who also makes the American Girl dolls. They were only 8 in the set made between 2002 and 2005. All are retired historical characters, beautifully detailed, each having a different traditional fashion of the time and country. These six dolls represent Alaska, France, England, Ireland, India, and China. The two that would complete the set are from Turkey and Ethiopia. Beautiful magnet front display cases are also included I have a mirror in the back of the case so you can see all sides of the doll. Dolls measure approximately 10”. Made in the late 1800s in Germany it’s almost unheard of to find these in the original box. This was the equivalent of the first slideshow. Includes 17 hand, painted whimsical slides made of glass. Kerosene would be placed in the burner inside, and lit which would create a light that was reflected out the front and through the glass slides onto a wall or sheet. Box measures 13 x 12 x 7 1/4.H The lantern itself measures 8 1/2 x 3 x 6 3/4H
