Antique Bronze Lamp, P. Henlein Clock,

This lot includes some unusual items. The lamp, is very heavy and feels like bronze, although it could be cast iron. Curves over like a desk lamp with a frosted glass shade, made by Handel Lamps. Here's what I found on the web: Handel Bronze Desk Lamp with Reverse-painted Shade, Meriden, Connecticut, early 20th century, felt on base with manufacturer's label, shade marked "6577 Handel," ht. 12 1/2, wd. 4 5/8, dp. 11 in. (Estimate 2,000-2,500). The Peter Henlein brass clock is a souvenir version of the first watch manufactured in 1510. From the web: Peter’s first clock was made in 1510, and by 1541 he was well known for his craft and has been tasked on building not only small clocks but also big tower clock for Lichtenau castle. Also an antique bronze or iron small picture frame, and a carved wood figurine of a chemist. The lamp did not turn on, so it will need some electrical work done. Also the glass was once repaired.
