Beautiful Pastel painting of Birch Trees in autumn. Gold frame and under glass. Signature last name is  Lavelle. Bought in an antique store. There are a few artists with the same last name, but the one who works resembles this is Antique American impressionist painting by John Lavalle (1896 - 1971).

This ornate gold frame really sells this landscape of a river aqueduct. Artist C. Williams.  Several artists go by the initials &#34;C. Williams&#34;. The most prominent is likely Christopher Williams, an American conceptual artist known for his photography and work in Düsseldorf.
