MCM 8 Drawer Dresser 

A very special MCM dining room table with interesting details in the legs and clever engineering. Either side is a drop leaf and can be folded down whenever you need more space in the room. The center can be pulled apart to reveal extension waiting below the table whenever you need more space at your table for more guests. 

It is a G plan design. The legs remind me of a Tesla logo and have a little brass round at the center. 

Although it can be used exactly as it is, the top would likely need a resurfacing in order to evenly match after years of where.

This MCM storage shelving units includes six cubbies (3 are 13” wide and 3 are 28.5” wide), 2 drawers (28.5” wide), and one section behind the cabinet door (13” wide). This is one single piece, but it has a 12 inch depth at the cubbies and an 18 inch depth in the lower part. There are no feet on this unit, but marks on the underside indicate that originally it had feet.

Two blown glass items decorated with cobalt blue feathering patterns within clear glass. The bud vase is round with a wide flared rim, measuring approximately 3.25 inches high by 3 inches in diameter. The perfume bottle is teardrop shaped with feathered blue patterns, measuring approximately 4.25 inches high by 2 inches in diameter. The bottle has a matching stopper with a pointed top and an irregular cut. When without the stopper, the bottle resembles a "Jack in the Pulpit" style vase. Both pieces are art glass with a smooth glossy finish.

This pair of art glass pieces show cobalt feathering blown within the glass. The bud vase is signed MMA (Metropolitan Museum of Art), and the bottle is unsigned. The stopper on the bottle has an irregular cut to it and is very tight when removing. If bottle is left without stopper, it resembles a “Jack in the Pulpit” vase. 

Dimensions: but vase measures 3.25 inches high by 3 inches round: perfume bottle measures 4.25 inches high by 2 inches round.
